At the beginning of 1977, almost ten years after Magical Mystery Tour, the last EP release in Germany, EMI decided to issue a series of EPs again, this time with identical cover artwork and only changing hues, from a bright yellow to purple, calling it, in German, The Greatest Four, pun intended.
