JAGGER FLIES AWAY FROM IT ALL

Earlier Jagger, of the Rolling Stores beat group, held a Press conference at the Granada offices, Soho, London, following the hearing of his appeal against conviction and sentence on drug charges. The appeal against conviction was dismissed and a conditional discharge for 12 months was substituted for Jagger's sentence of three months imprisonment.
