Negli USA viene pubblicato con il titolo "The Beatles' Second Album" con diversa copertina e sequenza di brani modificata dalla Capitol Records.

É il primo album discografico nel Regno Unito a raggiungere il milione di copie vendute, record ottenuto nel 1965.
