Beatle - Views

This vinyl LP contains interviews with members of the Beatles made during their 1966 USA Tour.
Interviewer is Ken Douglass. Ownership of this material was donated by The Beatles publicity dept. to "Ring Around The Pops", a Braille Quarterly published in Louisville, KY in the hopes it would help The Beatles image after the Butcher cover and John's religious comments. Original pressings were used for various fund-raising efforts by the School for the Blind in Louisville.

The original black vinyl release was pressed in 1966 and were sold at The School for the Blind record store and were put on consignment at other local record stores. When most didn't sell the remainder was destroyed. Unknown how many were sold or are left.

In the early 1980's a few hundred more copies were pressed on colored vinyl. Red, Green, Blue & Yellow pressings were made in the hopes of selling them at flea markets, but again even these colored copies became a hard sell and most were destroyed.
