The Beatles Metal Medallion
Cast metal pendant featuring sculpted portraits of all four Beatles arranged around a circular center, with THE BEATLES in raised lettering on the reverse. Produced during the height of Beatlemania, this inexpensive souvenir was intended to be worn as a necklace charm or attached to a bracelet or keyring.
Although apparently unofficial, pieces like this illustrate the enormous worldwide demand for Beatles merchandise in the mid-1960s, particularly in Asia, where countless small manufacturers produced affordable memorabilia for local and export markets. The absence of a maker's mark is typical of many Hong Kong-produced Beatles souvenirs from the period.
