GUM BALL CHARMS "BEETLE"

Small molded plastic charms distributed through vending machines in the United States during the height of Beatlemania. Produced by means of embossed molding, they feature the faces of the four Beatles and include an integrated loop for use as pendants or decorative accessories. Marketed as "Beetle Charms" (one variant bears the word "BEETLE" on the reverse), they represent a typical example of low-cost mass-produced merchandising created for the American teenage market between 1963 and 1964.
