Keychain / Medallion / Keyring The Beatles

Several different keychain versions were produced:

• A medallion (3 cm diameter) made of pewter, featuring the four Beatles' heads and names in relief on the front. The reverse was stamped "Beatles MCMLXIV." The item was designed to resemble a record and was fitted with a gold-colored chain (2.5 cm) attached to a metal keyring. The medallion is often found without the keyring and was frequently used as a pendant, which makes it difficult to distinguish between keychains and medallions.
• Several round charms attached to the end of a chain. One version featured "The Beatles" printed on the front and "The Beatles MCMLXIV" on the reverse. Another variant displayed a reddish-toned image of the group on the front and "The Beatles" on the back. A third version was round and white, featuring a color photograph of the band together with the wording "Manufactured Exclusively for Seltaeb, Inc."
• A brass keychain/ring fitted with a laminated black-and-white photograph (3 × 2 cm).
• Randall, one of the manufacturers, also marketed another keychain design consisting of a 2.5 cm brass disc with a 2 cm ceramic insert. Front: black-and-white group photograph. Reverse: stamped "Yeh Yeh Yeh."

Among the companies involved in the production and distribution of these items were The Paul A. Price Company of Roslyn, New York, and The Vari-Vue Company / Pictorial Productions, Inc..
