Presenting.. a Mini that had to be a fan-proof
BECAUSE IT'S CUSTOM-BUILT FOR A BEATLE
THIS isn't just another Mini that model Louise Coulter is admiring.
It's a millionaire's Mini. Or rather a Mini for FOUR millionaires—the Beatles.
And to prove it, they've fitted fan-proof windows (with tinted glass).
This one belongs to George Harrison but John, Paul and Ringo have each ordered one of the £1,200 Minis from Harold Radford, the coach builders.
Each Mini will have a tuned Mini-Cooper engine, lambswool carpets, tape recorders and Rolls-Royce type seats.
The cars are being supplied through the owner of Brydor Hounslow — who is the Beatles' manager, Brian Epstein.
