Beatles Thimbles

Set of four porcelain thimbles featuring John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Produced during the early years of Beatlemania, they represent one of the many examples of Beatles-inspired household merchandise aimed primarily at a female audience. Each thimble displays a black-and-white photographic portrait together with the musician's printed name. The set appears to belong to the wide range of souvenir items produced for the British and international markets between 1964 and 1965.
