BEATLE STAMPS - HALLMARK

Hallmark’s Beatles color stamps were sold in a booklet of 100. The booklet measured 10.2 cm x 18.4 cm and contained five sheets of 20 stamps each—one for each Beatle and one featuring the entire band.

The product was advertised with a store banner reading “Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Beatle Stamps Are Here!”, accompanied by five facsimile stamps in the ad.

The stamp had an orange border, with an image of a single band member in the center. Text was printed clockwise around the image on the border, for example: “Beatle,” “John,” “Stamp,” “John.”

Below the image was printed:

The stamp featuring the band showed the group with a white border, with the words “Beatle Stamp” inside the border.

The advertisement/promotion for the stamps, on a 6.4 cm x 50.8 cm promotional card, featured the following text:
"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Original Beatle Stamps – 100 Beatle Stamps for all your stationery, greeting cards, book covers, letters, album covers, etc. — price 59¢ – Stamps have invisible glue. Just wet and use – ©Hallmark Merchandisers Inc. - P.O. Box 21352 - L.A. 21, Calif. - exclusive worldwide distribution - original artist Robert S. Thorne - original print licensed by NEMS Enterprises Ltd - London, England 1964 - Printed in the U.S.A."

The sheet also included illustrations of the stamps.

Retailers could display the stamps in a display box. It was a manila paper box with an easel stand. On the front of the box, printed in blue ink, it read:
“100 Beatle Stamps Price 59 cents.”

The promotional poster for the stamps read:
Invisible glue, just wet and use.”
