The 1966–67 mail-in promotion advertised: “An exciting offer: The Beatles—Lift flap, pull up” . It included a set of four 33-cm purple plastic Beatles inflatable dolls by NEMS/Origina King Features Syndicate. This collection was created as a promotional tie-in to The Beatles cartoons aired on television; it was never intended to be sold as a standalone item.  

The inflatable dolls featuring characters from The Beatles' cartoons could be purchased using a coupon found inside a package of Lux, Dove, or Lifebuoy soap, or Nestlé Quik. This set was licensed by NEMS Enterprises Ltd. and manufactured in Hong Kong.
