UNCUT SHEET BEATLES VARI-VUE 3D FLASHER BUTTON

Pins produced in the United States fell into three categories:

1. 1" buttons of ball dispensing machines
2. 2½" Flashing Buttons
3. 3" slogan or image buttons

The 3½" or 4" diameter pins featured various slogans - in black with red text or blue with red text - including:

• "Yeah Yeah Yeah"
• "I Love 'Beetles'"
• "I Want To Hold Your Hand"
• "Beatle Booster"
• "I'm Bugs About the Beatles"
• "I'm '4' The Beatles"
• "Member Beatles Fan Club"
• "I Love The Beatles"
• "I Still Love The Beatles"
• "Ringo for President"
• "If I Were 21, I'd Vote for Paul"
• "If I Were 21, I'd Vote for Ringo"
• "In Case Of Emergency Call John"
• "In Case Of Emergency Call Paul"
• "In Case Of Emergency Call George"
• "In Case Of Emergency Call Ringo"
• "In Case Of Emergency Call Paul or Ringo"
• "In Case Of Emergency Vote LBJ"
• "I Love John"
• "I Love Ringo"

There was also a 3½" or 4" diameter model that read "I Hate The Beatles." Other 3" buttons included "Be a BEATLE Booster!" and "The Beatles," while some 1" pins read "Ringo for President" and "Beatles Are Bugs." In addition, there were promotional pins for radio and movies.

Among the most unique pins were the 2½" diameter 3D flasher pins, with blue metal backs, which alternately displayed a group photo, a single photo, and lettering such as "The Beatles - I Like John," etc. Some changed between "Beatle Booster" (incorrect), "I Like Beatles" (with guitars), and "I Like Beatles" (with faces). These pins were manufactured by Mt. Vari-Vue/Pictorial Productions, Inc. Vernon, NY.

Finally, another Beatles pins maker was Green Duck Company of Chicago, known for producing campaign badges and commemorative souvenirs.
