On July 31 1967, the American fan Pattie Emerson, then fourteen, travelled to Kinfauns, George Harrison’s home in Esher, Surrey;
She was welcomed by the Beatle, who posed for photographs that has been published, along with Pattie’s story, in Datebook magazine.
