John Lennon’s hair

A piece of memorabilia acquired by James Bevins, to whom John Lennon gave a lock of hair after the concert at the Red Rock Amphitheatre (Denver, Colorado) on 26 August 1964. James Bevins subsequently gave the lock to his friend Marc E. Marney in 1992.

Marc E. Marney’s statement is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Louis Mushro (The Manuscript Society).
